So I made this website here for all the people like me who have no idea where they are going to ski or snowboard this year! This is a good place to find basic prices to the major ski resorts here in Utah. You can click on a page to see specific prices for a specific resort, or you can scroll down to see some quick winning deals.
Season Pass Winner: The Canyons
If you're still in high school the best season pass deal by far is the at the Canyons. Season passes for kids in high school are usually under $250 and if you made the honor roll it knocks off another $30-$40. The Canyons is easily the largest ski resort in Utah and they have recently added a brand new terrain park that is nearly a mile long as well as some new and improved lifts. It's also one of the most accessible resorts to get to. You can take the freeway all the way to the resort; there is no canyon driving at all, so parents who are a little nervous to have their 16 year old drive up a snowy canyon can feel a little safer. Definitely take advantage of their season passes while you're young because the pricing shoots up once you hit 18.
Day Pass Winner: Brighton or Park City
If you are just looking to go once for a day, your best bet would be either Brighton or Park City. Both resorts have relatively low day pass prices at around $65 and both resorts are very high quality. They both have great terrain parks as well as a good choice of beginner to advanced level runs. Brighton is up the canyon and gets more snow, but Park City is bigger and not as crowded. Either way, they are great places to spend a Saturday.
Inexpensive Winner: Sundance
If you aren't looking to spend a ton of money for a day but you still want a decent place to go, Sundance is a great option. Their day passes come in at $49 and they also have great night pass prices. Twilight skiing, from 2:30-9:30 is $33 and normal night skiing is 4:30-9:30 and is $33. Sundance is a little small compared to Park City or the Canyons, but it is a nice resort and it's not a place that will eat all of your money.
